Language bar does not appear

M

Marc De Smet

I have a notebook (with English-UK keyboard) and at home
I attache an MS Natural Keyboard (English-US layout). In
Win XP, under regional settings, I have added the second
keyboard. I can switch keyboards with <left-alt><shift>
But I cannot make the Language bar appear, or an icon in
the system tray to quickly select/switch between
keyboards. In regional settings - Languages - Details I
see that under Preferences the Language Bar button is
greyed. Why? What can I do?

THanks for your help

Kind regards

Marc

In Languages - Details take Advanced and make sure that 'Turn off
Advanced Text services' is *not* checked.
