Language bar only works with German and English

~I have a language bar on my computer. If I switch between English and
German keyboards the keyboards switch. But if I switch to Japanese, Chinese,
Korean, or Portuguese from English the keyboard stays English. If I switch
to one of them from German the keyboard switches to English. I do have Far
Eastern Language support installed. The computer used to work with all the
languages. Any Ideas?

Use System Restore to get it back to a point where this
used to work.
