Office 2007 - English & German Versions?

T

TrickTrash

My girlfriend wants me to add German to my English installation of Office
2007 on Win XP SP3

Do I have to buy a Language Pack to make this work? (It seems as though for
the 2010 version, you can just download Language packs, but for 2007, you
need to buy the separate languages; do I have this right?
Can we use it separately, in different languages, seamlessly?

Thanks

By adding German language support with the language Pack which is available for Off
03,07 and10 you will not convert the Eng Office version to German or vica versa.
If you need to have your Office in German or English ,you will need to purchase the
appropriate language version of Office

That language Pack does not do this. It only gives you sep[port in the language of
choice

You will find support for MS Office in these forums now (no newsgroups
anymore):
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/group/Office

They are still there under any news server... just not on Microsoft's. But
that is okay, we don't need Microsoft for anything anyway. As they were
never there anyway.
