lacie not recognized

hi, i have a lacie d2 250gb harddrive which works fine on the computer i used
to format it yet fails to work on four other computers. i have tried
conecting it using both firewire and usb and it appears in disk management on
all computers yet i can't access the drive.It is show as unallocated data
The device is working properly in device manager and i have tried numerous
different cables.

any help?

Did you format it NTFS? If you did there may be an ownership/permissions issue that is preventing
from being seen on other machines.
