Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could help me....I got my Thai wife to bring USB
keyboard back from Thailand so she can type in Thai to her family and
friends.
Now she tested it over there, and it worked fine, but when I plugged it into
my machine Win XP said it didn't recognise the new hardware.....and as no
drivers or anything came with it,there doesn't seen to be anything I do that
makes it work.
Any ideas??

Also...sigh...I installed another email account (identity) with outlook
express, which worked fine....until I dowloaded new service packs for XP and
some security updates for IE and Outlook express.

Now whenever I try to change identity or even create a new one it just
switches back to the main identity every time.

Can anyone help me with these problems as I'm starting to look bad in the
eyes of my new wife!!!!!

Thanks,Dick

Hi Dick,

Good luck on the first issue.

As for the second:

After installing the SP1, you can't switch identities in Outlook Express:

Switching Between Dual Identities and more has been corrected: Cumulative
Update for Outlook Express 6.0 SP1

This update contains fixes and enhancements to Outlook Express 6.0 SP1 as
well as eliminates all previously addressed security vulnerabilities
affecting Outlook Express 6.0 SP1.

OLEXP: An Overview of the Cumulative Update for Outlook Express 6.0 SP-1

If you have not installed the Cumulative Update for OE: These are the
current workarounds and one option:

Click on File/Identities/Manage Identities and remove the
checkmark in "Use this identity when starting a program".

You Cannot Switch Identities in Outlook Express After You Install Windows XP
SP1
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q329084&

Before changing identity, Press F1. The Outlook Express "Help" window will
open (and leave it running in the background). Now click on FILE > SWITCH
IDENTITY and select your other identity.

Option:
Put a shortcut to msoe.chm in the Startup folder and leave the default ID
active.

try this : http://www.thailand-uk.com/fonts.html

create a user account in which you choose Thai as the language, in
Control Panel/Regional and Language
