I am trying to build a bilingual,English/Thai,web page.
I have the ability to display Thai characters. I have
Thai fonts installed. I just need to be able to type in
Thai. Short of paying MS $80 bucks for the MS Office
Proofing Tools (if that's even what I need) for 48
languages, 47 of which I don't need, does anyone know of
a freeware or shareware IME for the Thai language?

My wife is Thai and this is for her and the benefit of
her side of the family.

Thanks,

Jonathan Bailey

If you have a MS retail version of XP Home or Pro, the IMEs for
various languages are already included on the CD. Some OEM versions
and many preinstalled version recovery CDs do not include the language
IMEs. You do not need the MS Office proofing tools to install an
additional language input method editor (IME).

Regretably, Thai is not one of the included languages in
MS Office Tools............
