Hi All, I have a very strange problem.

I have a number of fresh install PC's running Windows XP, i am using a piece
of software called SmartTerm 420 ver 4, this is NOT installed locally on the
PC but the clients run a short cut from there PC and it opens it up, and its
a terminal emulation package with keymappings, the keymappings along with
the application are ran from a server. If i run this shortcut on Windows XP
PC's the keymappings don't work correctly (some keys work others don't) if i
run the same shortcut from a Windows 2000 PC it works fine, all the language
is set to default UK English British etc. Any Ideas ? What's different
between XP and 2000 in the way of things that could affect this.

I think the quickest and easiest way to deal with this is to contact
SmartTerm's tech support. This may be a known issue, there may be
patches, upgrades, workarounds or the like.
