Kelly! Help!!!Can't drag n drop

I have posted three messages all unanswered.
Suddenly my pc has lost the drag n drop utility in icons
as well as in explorer files.
please help!!!

You're asking a tough question, there is no canned answer
in their book, so you'll have to wait till someone comes
along with the right answer. That answer will be
plagiarized and passed around then everyone will know.

My best guess you'll be told to do a repair install.

Here's mine.

When you say you can't drag icons, is this on the desktop
or a drag and drop type file copy? If desktop it could be
something like autoarrange icons is checked, right click
on desktop and deselect autoarrange..

Open Control Panel/Internet Options

Click the Security Tab
Click Custom Level
Go to the Misc section and make sure that "Drag and drop or copy and
paste files" is enabled.

If you mean on your Start Menu. With Classic: Right click the Start
button/Properties/Customize button/Check Enable dragging and dropping/OK/Apply/OK.
With Standard: Right click the Start button/Properties/Customize button/Advanced
tab/Check Enable dragging and dropping/OK/Apply/OK.
