Hello Folks,
I'm using Windows XP with service pack 2 and I've got about a 45 icons in my
Taskbar and from these, about 15 for Website shortcuts.
The icons are all of the 'Internet Explorer Browser' type, the large round
'E'.
I get the Icons by:
Left click Favourites folder/right click on the website/down to ‘send
to’/left click ‘Desktop (create shortcut)’.
When I first saved Google to my desktop, I had the Google icon.
You know the one that is a large letter 'G'.
When I dragged this onto the Taskbar, it was still a letter 'G', but when I
boot up the computer again the Icon changed to the Internet Explorer icon.
Any Icons in the Taskbar only change when they're Website shortcuts.
I've found out that there may be some sort of patch for just this problem.
The patch stops any icons from changing on the Taskbar and also in the
Favourites folder.
What I had in mind was to try and keep the original Icons.
All help and advice appreciated.
Thanx in advance.
