Hey, when I go on my game (Battlefield 2) I get the noise of when Kasperky blocks something, and my screen goes all blank, and I have to restart my comp :(

So this means each time I want to play Battlefield I have to turn my Anti-Virus off, which I don't like doing.

Is there a way I can manually allow it?

Thanks,

-Foley

Try activating 'compatability mode' in settings and re-boot.

If that doesn't work, go to Firewall>Configure>Add and browse to Battlefield and select.

Ya I opened that. Then on the left it has: File-Anti-Virus, Mail Anti-Virus etc. So what one do I click to change it to 'compatability mode'

Which version of Kaspersky are you using?

Under Kaspersky 7 it is when you have 'Protection' selected at the top of the list:

I'm using 6. This picture shows what I get when I click settings.

Erm, I'm not sure what you mean about that :p It's not a free-trial, I bought it, if that helps.

Now you've lost me - in your thumbnail in your post earlier - click on 'Service' in the lower left margin and does it have the compatability mode setting there?

Oh sorry, it has Update, Data Files, Rescue Disk and Support. That's what it says under 'Service'

Ok - forget that and try the other thing in my first reply instead.
