junk mails...:-(

recently I had been receiving junk mails from different addresses. I had
been continuously blocking these mails. but still I continue to get the
emails but with different addresses. again I block this mail and next time I
receive from another email id.

DO I need to install some software to prevent this ??? how is my email id
being trapped? what can I do to prevent this?

It's not a joke Mailwasher is a legit anti spam filtering
software package.. it does however require configuring and
setting up with rules so that it can distinguish which mail is
legit and which is spam. If you righ click on an individual mail
within it it gives the option to add a sender to a friends list
or a blacklist ....
