Jumpy Video

I,m spending hours every night on last years hols.and
getting nowhere with mm2.I've done all thats been
answered before,so all i really want to know is,do i have
the equipment to do video capture/editing.
I've got an AMD Athlon 1300 processor, 40gb hard drive
7200 rev.,384 ram and am using firewire.

Your RAM is on the lower side, so you might be limited in the size of your
movie projects. But you have enough to test it and expect it to work.
