Joining a Domain with Windows XP Home Edition

I am trying to get a network connection with a new computer I got that is
running Windows XP Home Edition on the Domain of my little office. Unlike my
other machines that are running either XP Proffesional or Win2k, I cannot see
an option for a domain name in making a new network connection or how to
assign a network ID. Is this a problem with the home edition? Do I need to
upgrade to XP Professional?

Windows XP Home can not join a domain.
