Joining Windows XP Home Edition Computer to a Domain on a Server

I have a Windows 2000 Server Domain in a client/server environment at a
church. One of the computers is a Windows XP Home Edition computer. All
other computers in the domain network are XP Professional. Is it possible to
get the XP Home edition computer to join the domain of the server. When
trying to setup the XP Home computer for networking it gives the option for a
workgroup only and does not give an option to join a domain as does an XP
Professional computer. Am I going to have to upgrade the XP Home to XP
Professional to accomplish joining this computer to the domain on the server?

Thanks for any help from anyone with experience in this!

XP Home machines may use shared domain resources, but can't "join" a domain
and be authenticated by domain access control lists.
