Join several presentations without modifying their own design?

I'd like to join several presentations but each has its own design. When I
join them in one single file they all change to the same design. That's not
what I want.

GeoMan, when you insert slides, make sure to check the Keep Source
Formatting option. That will copy the slide masters along with the slides
and apply them to it.

You can also take an entirely different approach by using inserted OLE
objects. This is my preferred approach, but it is not exactly an intuitive
maneuver. Experiment with the Insert Object command and see how PowerPoint
(and its animation engine) behaves with this type of joining of PPT files.
If you want more conversation about it, come back to us on this and we'll
talk some more...

Depends on your version of PowerPoint. You might want to look here for a
solution http://www.awesomebackgrounds.com/powerpointlinking.htm
