Design master

I have a presentation that uses a design master. I copy a slide from other
presentation that has its own design master to the presentation. I would
like to change all slides to the one I paste from other presentation. Can
someone advise me how to do it. In addition, can I allow a couple of slides
that do not follow the design master.

Thanks,

Scott

I'm assuming that you have copied in the slide keeping source format.

In 2003 Format > Slide Design
Easiest to go to slide sorter view to see all the slides
Ctrl A to select all and then ctrl click any that you do not wish to change
In the design pane RIGHT click the design that you have just pasted in and
choose "apply to selected slides"

In 2007 you should see the new design in the design tab. From there it's
pretty much the same

John,

Thanks for your useful advice. Now I can apply the imported slide master to
my existing slides. However, both old and new designs are mixed together
and I need to delete the old master components manually and reset slide and
manually cut and paste the corresponding titles to the new slide master. Is
there any way to replace the old with the new one?

In addition, how can I set text shadow in slide master?

Thanks,

Scott
