Jobs not showing up in Print Queue

We are using windows 2000 with sp3 for our print server.
Everytime a small to meduim job is sent to the print queue
it is never in there. The job prints. When Large
documents are sent they are spooled and then they are
gone. In Novell the job stays in there until it is fully
printed. What do I need to set for the job to stay in
there until it is printed. The problem is secretaries
need to send a manually feed and the seed no jobs in the
printe queue so they think it is o.k. to send when it
isn't.

Perhaps you could try to use :
printer / properties / advanced / print directly to the printer ??
