ISScript - What is it?

PC running XP Pro SP1.

I have ISScript listed in my Add/Remove Programs list in Control Panel.
It shows no disk space useage and when I try to remove it, it pops up a
Windows Installer window saying:

"The feature you are trying to install is on a CD ROM or other removeable media.
Insert the ISScript disk and click OK"
There is a "Use Feature From" drop down list with the number one (1) in it, at the
bottom of this window.

If I click OK, I get an error message saying it cannot find "1" (which makes sense).
But then ISScript disappears from the Add/Remove Programs list. Until I close
and reopen Add/Remove Programs. Then it is there again.

I also looked in the registry under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
and it is not listed there, even though it is in Add/Remove Programs.

Not sure what this is or where it came from. Anyone know what ISScript is?

Not exactly sure of the name, but I'm pretty sure it stands for
InstallShield Script.

Some setup programs developed with InstallShield will install this scripting
engine, as it enhances the abilities of the setup program itself. It's
pretty harmless.

Thanks. That makes sense. I sometimes get prompted
with the same Windows Installer window when installing
software. I just have to click Cancel 3 times, and the
window goes away and the install finishes.

Something got hosed...
