Cannot locate isscript.msi

D

dm

I am attempting to install a third party software on
Win2000 server. During the install, I receive an error
message realted to 'Isscript.msi' that says: The feature
you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable. Click OK to try again. Enter an alternative
path to a folder containing the installation
package 'Isscript.msi' in the box below.

What is this? What disk is this file located on?
The techknowledge indicates to remove the Isscript
component installed, but this only applies to Win Xp and
the uninstall will not work because it is looking for
the 'Isscript.msi' component as well.

Any suggestion or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

Search support.installshield.com for isscript.msi - they have downloads for it.
It's an MSI file that installs InstallShield's proprietary scripting engine.

I went to that installshield.com site and followed some
tips and downloaded and installed the Isscript.msi. It
still did not resolve my issue because that message still
appears when trying to install the Isscript.msi

There must be a custom action that searches for the Installshiled Script
Engine installation. You have 3 options: either make the custom action's
condition resolve to false, delete the custom action or remove the custom
action from the sequence menu.
