Data retrival, I have burnt some backup stuff to a disc, and the disc has
become corrupt, can anybody recommend and recovery software, either free or
paid...the Disc contains various items on.

Usually a disk,cd or dvd is corrupt is dirt on the disk itself,or scratches.Try cleanin
the disk,you can purchase cleaner (denatured alcohol) or a kit that mechanically rotate
the disk while it cleans,usually around 10.00 or less.

The disc is clean, it is a DVD-RW, but I have now found out, after trying to
copy stuff back, the disc's are s**t, so I need to read the disk byte for
byte back to my hard-disk, and salvage what I can, and bite the bullet for
what I can't.
