Is There a Workaround for Sorting Unread and Read Messages

Using Windows XP Pro and Outlook 2003

Using activsync and a Motorola Q

For issues related to my Q, I need to regularly empty my inbox of read email
messages.

What I want to do is sort or group by read and unread messages so that I can
move them easily to a different folder.

I know I can't sort or group by unread messages.

I also know I can use search folder for unread messages and Advance View.

The problem is that neither of these accomplish what I'm trying to do: move
all *read* items quickly out of my inbox. It has to be my inbox because
activesync synchronizes with my inbox.

Can anyone think of a workaround solution?

Thanks,
Monte

Hi,

I answered my own question. I created a search folder with the criteria of
being in my inbox and being a read message.

Best,
