Is there a way in PP to do a custom print page greater than 54" lo

I have the opportunity to create a poster greater than 54" long (4.5 feet)
for a conference but both the custom and banner page sizes in Powerpoint
default to 54". Does anyone know if is it possible in PP to make this number
larger (say 72' or 6 feet)? Thanks!

Print posters or other large format outputhttp://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00537.htm
My only comment on this would be to make sure that you use really high
resolution graphics. A decent quality print can be acheived with a
resolution of 300dpi. If an image is 300dpi on your slide and your
printer driver scales the slide up to double its original size, then
your image resolution lessens to 150dpi. So if it were me, I'd work
out how many times larger the poster size is than the slide and then
times that number by 300 to get an idea of the image resolution to
start with.

Another suggestion. Do you have the copy of Office that comes with
Access? If so, it's likely that Publisher will also have been included
on the install CD. Publisher is a DTP program where you could specify
a full poster page size. It's a much better application for achieving
what you want.
