How do I set a custom slide size to wider than 56 inches?

I creating a poster in Powerpoint. Have already successfully set my paper
source for a 70in wide, 35in high poster. In page setup, I've tried to set
my custom page size for these dimensions. However, it won't let me set the
width any wider than 56 inches! Interestingly enough, when I do a print
preview, it shows my poster as 70 inches wide. Help!!!! I'm in a deadline.
