Is there a way to apply just the layout in PP07 without changing .

In PP 03, we could change layout w/o affecting design. PP 07 has changed.
Is there a way to just adjust the layout without changing the
design/background? Other than creating one after another after another???

Hi FriendLee

Are you using the layout drop down on the home tab? You should be able to
change layout without changing design from there. Ahhh, wait a minute - have
you changed the master? If so are you sure you changed the 'mother' master
(the big one at the top) and not an individual layout? If you only changed
one layout, only that layout will reflect your new design and all the others
will still be based on the original design (probably 'Office Theme').

Does that make sense/help?

Thanks for your reply. Ok, I understand to what you refer. So I need to
add a master for every one of my homemade designs (in PP 03 talk)...

So I go in to the master and create new ones being sure to use the "mother"
master?

I've played around with this for so darn long. Thanks for your help!

Hi Lee

It depends on the nature of your 'homemade designs' - if you just change the
background colour for example I would be tempted just to do that on a
per-slide basis rather than creating a master for each. But yes, essentially
you need to create new mother masters (which can make master view difficult
to navigate compared to 2003) in the way you used to create new masters in
2003.
