Hi,

When I look at network properties on my computer, I see one extra
connection named "Internet Gateway". When this connection is enabled, I am
able to go on the internet but I can not hit http://locahost.

When I disable this connection, I can hit my http://localhost but I can not
go on the internet.

I am connecting to the internet through router. Other computers that are
connecting to the internet through this router are fine.

please CC you reply to (e-mail address removed) as well.

Thanks in advance.

The Internet Gateway is your router. When you disable the Internet
Gateway, you're telling the router to disconnect itself from the
Internet.

If you don't want the Internet Gateway icon to appear, check the
router documentation for how to turn it off -- look for information on
"Internet Gateway", "UPnP", or "Universal Plug and Play".

For the http://localhost problem, run IE, go to Tools | Internet
Options | Connections | LAN Settings, and make sure that all of the
boxes are un-checked.

Does http://127.0.0.1 work with the Internet Gateway enabled?
