internet explorer

when i turn on my pc it automatically opens to interenet
explorer- why does it do that - it never did before! help!

The dialog box says something along the lines of "you have used the
System Configuration Utility...". There is a little box to check that
says something to the effect of "don't bother me with this again".
Check that box, Apply and OK out.
