IE problems when opening zip files

Help!

Some how I have zip files opening with IE. The interenet explorer
repeatedly flashes and won't stop. How do I get my zip files to open
correctly?

(Shift+)Right-click on a zip file > Open with > Select application & check
the "Always open with..." box.
