Opening Zip files

Whenever I try to open a zip file in My Documents, Internet Explorer opens
and its screen flashes on and off repeatedly. The only way to stop it is to
shut off my computer. What's up with this?

It would appear that you may have a broken file association with .zip files.
Go to My Computer....Tools...Folder options...File Types, scroll down to the
..zip file extension. What program is being used to open .zip files?
