Starting yesterday, whenever I go to my home page (New
York Times)and click on a story link, I get to the link.
But when I click Back to get back to the main page, I
somehow am getting back to *yesterday's* main page. E.g.,
instead of getting back to Monday's main page, I get back
to Sunday's. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Close Internet Explorer and clear your Temporary Internet Files and History.
[Control Panel > Internet Options > General tab] You should be good to go.
To prevent this from happening in the future, you could review your options
for saving Temporary Internet Files. [Control Panel > Internet Options >
General tab > Settings button > 'Check for newer versions of stored pages.']
