Internet Explorer shuts down!

Whenever I open Internet Explorer and type in an address, the program shuts
down. All I am able to do is launch IE and go online (LAN connection). After
that, it just shuts down if I do anything.

I can check my email, so the Internet connection should be fine.

Please help! (I cannot get to any support pages online...) Thanks.
