Windows Internet Explorer 7

I recently downloaded and installed the update for Windows Internet Explorer,
which is Windows Internet Explorer 7. When I try to use the *new tab* button
in the window I've already got up it goes like it is going to work but then
shuts down my Internet Explorer window(s) all together. What can I do t fix
this problem?

Please try the IE7 group.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:

Hia,

I solbved my own problem by removing Explorer 7, and reverting to 6. I have
not tried re-installing 7 yet.

I use to have Window Internet Explorer 6 if I click on [My Picture] then
close the web page or web site that's OK. As for Window Internet Explorer 7
click on [My Picture] it pop up to another web page or web site which is
[blank] nothing on it,but left hand corner in the (Address Bar) as No web
page message but show [ABOUT BLANK]. How can I get rid of this or remove it
so it will work like Window Internet Explorer 6 did? I dislike it every time
I close web page or web site this blank page comes up. So I actually closing
2 web pages instead of 1.. HELP to explain in simple form to remove very
annoying and what to do very very appreciate info from anyone. THANK YOU
