Internet Explorer + Right Click

On my laptop (WinXP Pro), when I right click on a
hyperlink and choose "Open in New Window" nothing
happens. Also when I click on a hyperlink in an email to
open a web page, again nothing happens.

I mention that it happens on my laptop as there is no
similiar problem on my desktop computer that is also Win
XP Pro and uses McAfee Security Suite 6.0 as well.

I think this may be a settings problem - any help is
appreciated.
