Windows Vista Internet explorer keeps changing

Hey im James,
Wondering if anyone can help me out. When im on internet explorer on a page such as Youtube, the website will all of a sudden change to an advertisement page, making me lose what i was doing on the previous page. I have got Norton Antivirus and use Windows defender. My pop-up blocker works on all pop-ups but not on this.
Please help...

Hmmm, possibility you are a victim of a malicious add redirect ... loads of them about, they infect your PC with no indication of what happened ... oh, and no AV helps protect you. You may be lucky and the AV program 'finds' the little bugger for you later ... but don't hold your breath.
