internet explorer is not exploring

My internet explorer does not work anymore, yet my
netscape browser is running fine. Internet explorer reads:
Page can not be displayed. I have aol too and i can only
check my mail but can't explore the web. What could be the
problem if netscape browser is able to access the web just
fine? (i have XP SP1)..............can any one help me!
