If you accidentally delete the Internet Explorer Icon from the desktop (the
one that allows you to right click, choose properties/Internet Options)

I'm not talking about creating a typical shortcut to IE, I mean the IE.exe.

Try these:
1) Right-click on the Desktop, go to Properties, Desktop,
Customize Desktop, unclick Internet Explorer, hit OK then
go right back in to Customize Desktop, click Internet
Explorer, OK your way out . . . OR
2) Create a new shortcut on the Desktop, point to
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe

Good Luck !

Just curious, as this same question is asked often as of late....did "you"
actually delete/remove it or did a spyware cleaner program or etc. do it for
you?
