Hello Eddy,
If you've gotten the similar abends from 3 different browsers, the odds are fairly high there is a hardware issue.
It may be overheating or it may be bad or marginal RAM memory.

Run a ram memory tester like MEMTEST86.
See http://www.memtest86.com/

Insure your memory checks out ok.

More on program crashes:
See what Event Viewer has in it's log. Select Start button/ select Run , then type in

eventvwr.msc<enter>

-- or Go to Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance/Administrative Tools >Event Viewer.

Review the sections and look for Errors or Warnings that match the time the event occurred.
Double click---the information "may" give a clue.

Right Click the My Computer icon on desktop. Select Properties.
Next, select Advanced. Look for a block that says Startup and recovery. Press the settings button.
In System failure section, turn off (un-check) Automatically restart.
Write an event to system log should be Checked (selected).

Apply change.

I keep getting the same message, if you click 'send error report' then close
the window when it tells you, you can click a 'more info' button, so I did,
it said there was no remedy but my computer needs updates, so I updated. I'm
still getting the problem message, anyone know what to do?

I once suspected a RAM problem, had read alot about the good of
MEMTEST86. I let it run all night, and it was still running. I decided
it was just ridiculous / "wasn't for me".

if you suspect RAM then-
If you have 2 RAM modules, take 1 out, then try the other 1 out. See if
problem persists
If you only have 1 RAM module, then buy another one and try it in
there.

It may be audio card.
You mentioned music and video. I think i've had a similar problem with
a bad Audio card or driver. Try uninstalling the audio driver and
removing the soundcard. See if there's still a problem
You could do the same for the video card, but your prob reminds me of
the audio card prob I had.

i had done a memory test n there was nothing wrong with my ram.
i suspect its a kind of spyware or virus that my programs could not detect.

remedy n solve the problem. pls help.

Did you get & then run memtest86 ? as per my reply to eddy
