Internet Explorer Fails to open

Good Day,

I am having an issue opening internet explorer in Win XP pro. whenever i
attempt to open a web page, nothing opens. I've ran an up to date virus scan,
adware scan, and everything i can think of to no avail. One thing i did
notice, is that when i try to delete my cached files in the internet options,
it gives me an error.

The iexplore.exe process does exist in the task manager once i try and
execute the program.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? or where win xp stores it's cached
files? Thanks a lot!

Run Error Checking on that drive. Rightclick the drive icon, Properties,
Tools Tab.
