Have 4 XP Home computers networked to share files and
have enabled ICS with no problems - however I now need to
limit 1 of the computers from accessing the internet but
keep that computer connected to the network. Is there a
way to use passwords for ICS on XP home edition or any
other way to limit this?

On the machine which you wish to block from the Internet:

1. Start/Run: cmd ENTER.

2. Type ipconfig ENTER

3. write down the IP address and the subet mask, type exit ENTER

4. Goto control Panel/Network and Internet Connections, click Network
connections.

5. Right click on your Local Area Connection and select Properties.
Highlight TCP/IP and click the Properties button.

6. Check Use the following IP address, enter the IP address and subnet mask
you wrote down in 3. Do not enter a Default gateway. Click OK. Reboot.
