Home Networking Help

I have previously established a home network and internet sharing which was
working; however this seems to have evaporated and my internet connection is
no longer being shared. I am using Windows XP Professional on all computers.
I get the following in the network setup log when I try to recreate the
network:

Network Setup Wizard Log
Attempting to set computer name
Old computer name is the same as new computer name - not setting.
Setting server description (comment): Office
Attempting to set workgroup name
Workgroup name is the same as the old one - not setting.
Will attempt to share public connection.
Will attempt to firewall public connection.
Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection Shared Public for ICS configuration.
Internet Connection Firewall Enabled on Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network
Connection.
ICS Failed to Share 1394 Connection as a Private connection.
Adapter Configuration for Home Networking failed.
Shared Printer: Microsoft Office Document Image Writer
Shared Printer: EPSON Stylus Photo R300 Series
Shared Printer: Adobe PDF

Any ideas?

Dawn,

Please be more specific with "my internet connection is no longer being shared".
# Can any computers access the Internet?
# Can any computers access all websites?
# Can some computers access some websites but not others?
# Can some computers access the Internet only some of the time?

How are the computers connected? Did you run the Network Setup Wizard? If so,
please review the correct NSW selections.

And let's look at "ipconfig /all" for the computers.

It appears that ICS is trying to use the 1394 (FireWire) connection
for the home network connection to your other computers. It's
possible to use FireWire, but it's much more likely that your setup
uses an Ethernet connection to the other computers.

A possible explanation is that you're enabling ICS on the wrong
connection. Enable ICS on the one that connects you to the Internet.
That's usually a dial-up or Ethernet connection. If it then asks you
to select the home network connection, tell it to use the one that
actually connects to the other computers.
