seeing other xp machines on home network

I received this newer puter with xp installed and have a internet and network
connection but none of my other puter show on home network not even this
puter. I have turned off the firewall and check that all the same services
are on with each puter but still no showing in my network places.

When setting up new network connection i noticed it says in the internet
connections settings:
Connecting via ICS through: Unknown Internet Connection Sharing device
not sure about this because i can ping all my machines

For best help, provide "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server",
and "net config workstation", from the problem computers well as from 2 others,

Try enabling your NetBIOS over TcpIP (NetBT).

Control Panel->Network Connections -> R-Click on your Adapter ->
Properties -> Scroll down in the "This connection..." window and
double-click on "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" -> Advanced ->
WINS (tab) -> Check the "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" box.
"OK" your way out.

I fixed it by uninstalleing the net card thank you for all your advice

I found the problem in the connection properties I couldnt add a client or
file sharing when i tried it asked if i wanted to disable them so i figured
maybe i will just reinstall the net card and that fixed it
