Internet Connection Screen pops up

I run Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron. For some reason each
time I open a folder on my computer, my Internet
Connection Screen pops up. I have yet to determine what
the issue is.

Any ideas?

Go to control panel and click on internet options.In
conections tab,make sure "never dial a connection is
clicked".If that is not it,I would call your IP and
explain your problem....Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion. Have tried to see if it is the
Internet settings, but to no avail. Am now going to send
message directly to Microsoft to see if they have the
answer. Thanks again for the response.
