Have two Dell's, one with XP Home and the other with XP Pro installed.
They are using a Netgear 4-port router to connect to the broadband modem
and the internet. The problem is the XP Pro machine, all of a sudden,
does not connect with IE, to the internet. It just times out. (Can ping
the router, but will not acess the setup) Outlook Express Email works
normally, send and recieve. The other XP Home machine works normally for
all operations. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Google for lspfix.exe and winsockxpfix.exe, run both in default mode to
fix the TCP/IP stack.

Q

sounds like your missing either a valid IP address, or the second pc is in a
different ip subnet
