Internet connect sharing

A win 2000 server configured as DNS & file server manages
a small win 2000 network. I've added two xp clients to
the network. I wish to access the internet via the
network using a dialup modem installed on one of the xp
machines, i tried Installing ICS via wizard on same
machine but the network does not see the pc anymore where
the ip address changes to 192.168.0.1, the previous ip
address is seen by the network 200.10....etc. How is it
possible to make this happen?
 
You need to change you network subnet to 192.168.0.0. This is the only
subnet that ICS will work on.
