Yep they were lucky that time!

I have seen marshalls killed at Brands! they do a sterling job and are volunteers who don't get paid, they get a meal allowance but thats all.

I have been a marshall on many occasions at Brands and at other tracks around the UK, without volunteers like marshalls most motorsports would never be allowed to go ahead!

Good job no one was seriously hurt..
