Error Msg :
insufficient system resources exist to complete the
requested service

Error message appears intermittently, loses access to the
internet and network drives, unable to connect to network
shares, but is still able to send email and ping hosts /
ip addresses, network connection still active.

close all other programs not used. Click ctrl/alt/del to
open taskmanager and see what's running.
You probably have a lot of programs loaded at startup
running in the backround.

Have only Outlook, word, 2 sessions of Excel (all v2002)
and Royal Blue and Bloomberg running, will give it a go

I don't have all of the answers to this problem as I have little
expertise in the technical aspects of networking.

What I can find seems to indicate that this is likely a networking
issue related to NetBIOS and may be related to either using NetBIOS
over TCP/IP or to using NetBEUI networking protocol.

If that does not help you to resolve the issue then you should
probably post this question to a newsgroup that deals with networking,
such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web

Good luck
