Installing xp using boot disks

i am installing windows xp home through the boot disks.
when i get to disk 3 the following error occurs.

" The entry "pciide.sys" in the [SourceDisksFiles]
section of the INF file is corrupted or missing.

setup cannot ocntinue. "

i installed the floppy disks from the program off the
microsoft website. i have no idea why this is happeneing.

if anyone can remedy this problem, id be greatly
appreciative. thanks in advance.
 
Your machine will not boot from the XP CD?

There are 2 different setup disk sets, pre SP1 and with SP1 did you get the right set?

Download the set again.
