windows xp pro setup

When I tried to install winxp pro, I received an error
when checked for disks. The error was:

Value in .sif file setup is corrupted or missing
value 0 on the line in section [sourcedisksfiles]

How do you fix this. I created the boot diskettes to
install os. Problem occured after formatting hard drive
and running check on disks.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Apparently, you inadvertently downloaded the wrong set of disks.

Obtaining Windows XP Setup Boot Disks

NOTE:

If you are planning to use the Windows XP setup disks,
make sure you downloaded the correct set of setup disks.

If your have a Windows XP CD with SP1, you need to download
the setup disks for use with the Windows XP SP1 installation CD.

If your Windows XP installation CD does not include SP1,
use the setup disks for the "original release" of Windows XP.
