Installing software problems

I have been trying to install Quickbooks Pro 2001 on my new
XP Pro computer all day. Each time I try to install I get
a message that says "Pending File Operations" and that I
should restart. The only button available is "OK" which
closes the installer. I have restarted over and over, and
even done selective startup. No success. Any suggestions?
 
Sounds like a problem with Quickbooks installer, ask them.
