Installing MS Fax

I followed the instructions to install the fax service on
Windows XP, but when I go to
<Start>,<Accessories>,<Communications>, <Fax> the submenu
says "Empty". When I go back to the component
installation section of "Add/Remove Programs" in "Control
Panel", Fax is unchecked again as if I never installed
it. Fax is the only component that does this

fax modem you use.
