I'm going to upgrade my motherboard and CPU on my
desktop, but i'm concerned that I will have to reinstall
Windows XP. If you change motherboards and CPU, do you
have to reinstall WinXP on the hard drive, or will it
plug and play?

Thanks,
Warran

Some do - some don't!

Be prepared to perform a repair install - minimum!
